ALERT LEVEL 2 EDITIONThe Henderson RSA welcomes all its Members, New Members and Guests to the Razza

HENDERSON RSA CONTINUES  TO PREPARE TO OPEN ONCE WE GET DOWN TO ALERT LEVEL 2 – HOWEVER THAT IS MORE UP IN THE AIR THAN EVER AFTER THE PRIME MINISTERS LAST ANNOUNCEMENT

What does Level 2 and beyond mean for us

As we are all aware these are uncertain times.  However we are confident that all our businesses will survive and we will be back providing our full range of services once again.

With the Prime Minister’s announcements of what Level 2 will look like for the Hospitality industry, we are aware that we will have to make adjustments to be viable and sustainable.  We realise that we may not operate as we once were, but hope that you will find the RSA the place to be.

Our staff have taken the opportunity during the closure to conduct maintenance and housekeeping, keeping the RSA attractive and appealing.

We look forward to welcoming you back when we re-open.

Under Alert Level 2 there will still be strict distancing rules, but these are hard to decipher at this stage. Whatever they are they will need to be adhered to and access to the Club will be limited to

Members, Affiliate Members and their Guests are welcome to enjoy our Club.

The Club will be limited to a maximum of 100 people in the Club at one time.  Sanitisers are NOW available throughout the club and Members are asked to keep their distance, regularly wash and sanitize their hands, be patient and polite to other members.

We were hoping that the Club would be open next Thursday but it appears that Level 2 is going to be ‘Phased In’  and as Hospitality is seen as the Bad Boys On The Block we could possibly be the last sector to be given the Green Light to RE-OPEN.  We will have to wait until Monday to find out!

Following Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s announcement on Thursday the hospitality industry is now gearing up for a return to business, to be guided by “the three S’s”.

Changes you will see and be required to abide by are – The Three S’s

Those are: seated, separated and single service.

Seated means our Club will only be able to serve as many as can be safely seated. So no standing around at the bar Boys!

Separated – Who the hell knows what this means.  Tables must be a metre apart but people can sit with others outside their bubble and maybe even sit on your lap!

Single service means our beautiful staff will come to you to take your order and ordering at the counter will strictly not be allowed. But how you pay is up in the air and can you get up and have a game of pool or go to the loo – Who Knows.

CONFUSED – WE ARE BUT WE CAN’T WAIT TO HAVE YOU ALL BACK IN THE CLUB

TAKEAWAY MEAL – AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE

One of the opportunities the Corona-virus has given us is a chance to delve into providing our Members with Takeaway Meals at an affordable price.  The Club is upgrading its Food Control Plan to allow us to sell takeaways. We are confident we can provide some hearty meals to take home and enjoy for just $10.00.  Check it out next time you are in the Club.
